ONAM of 2010 has been a memorable one to me in many ways... Away from home I was missing it all ... ONAM was a sort of welcome break for me... took
me through the rain ... ripe paddy fields!!! awesome:) it was!!
The rich ethical terms stay pronounced through out the festival ,,, just like how they stay in Kerala within the people who reside there...
It is celebrated by the children and elders with equal interest... and most importantly equal enthusiasm!!! I take a lot of pleasure disclosing this open secret to all of you... It is believed that during this period all will be happy without any problems of any sort...
Finally discussing about the flower carpets and the special ONAM CUISINE... They are both incomparably awesome and are totally exquisite ... well as most of yo will be knowing it is generally celebrated during August... When the Rainy season ends in KERALA ...
The special attraction of this season is boat races... the atmosphere will be awesome, electric,.... well it is totally super good and cool... The perfection with which people row the boat is just mind blowing ... often to motivate themselves they generally sing high energy songs.... which once heard can never be forgotten!!!
